Ed Tick, Kate Dahlstedt, and Charlie Pacello: Restoring the Soul After War: A Virtual Memorial Day Retreat

Check out recordings of past Gathering of Warriors sessions.

Since the earliest days of decorating the graves of fallen Civil War soldiers with flowers, we have come together as a nation to remember our fallen. On Memorial Day, we honor and grieve for those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.  Memorial Day is more than laying wreaths down or placing flags. It is a sacred day of solemnity as we reflect on the sacrifices made by those whose voices we never heard but who paid with their life for our freedoms. We pause for communal mourning, remembrance, song, honor and making meaning. Our Memorial Day ceremony is designed to ensoul the community with the true intent behind the holiday, which, in truth, is a very holy day. Please join Dr. Edward Tick, Kate Dahlstedt, and Charlie Pacello for the 7th Annual Memorial Day retreat sponsored by Rowe Conference Center on Monday May 31st, from 11-2 PM EST.  We hope you will find hope, healing, and meaning with us this coming Memorial Day.

Award-winning documentary filmmaker Frederick Marx (Hoop Dreams, etc) will join us, premiere a short trailer on war healing and join us in discussion and action toward memorializing our losses and healing from violence.

As with all our paid programs, access to the recording is included with your registration confirmation email. Check your email carefully once you register!

We don’t wish to turn anyone away due to financial need. If you cannot afford this program, you may apply for financial aid here. We have limited funds available, but we will help as much as we can.
