Kim Rosen
Kim Rosen, M.F.A., author of "Saved by a Poem: The Transformative Power of Words" (Hay House, 2009) has awakened listeners around the world to the power of poetry to heal and transform individuals and communities. She is a poet, spoken word artist, ritualist and teacher of inner work centering on the power of poetry as a pathway to radical authenticity and self-revelation. Founder of the Poetry Depths Mystery School, and Soul School, she is the co-creator of four CDs of poetry and music and her writing has been published in The Sun Magazine, O Magazine, and Spirituality and Health among others. In 2007 she spoke a poem to a group of Maasai girls in Kenya who had fled FGM and Early Childhood Marriage, and that moment became the seed of the Safe House Education (S.H.E.) Fund.

This is an invitation to radical self-honesty, realness, curiosity and community that will at least disrupt who you think you are, and possibly leave you, as Mary Oliver writes, “a bride married to amazement.”
Join us for an immersive soul excavation through music, poems, wisdom teachings, movement, meditation and inner journeying, as well as through group and dyad sharing. Optional homework explorations, readings and videos continue the conversation between gatherings, and the “Temple Wall”, a private social media site, provides a place to share and connect.
Kim has innovated unique techniques of working with the Zoom video platform to create a lush environment of music, poetry, movement, and connection. This is not 2.5 hours entrained to your device. It is an inner journey that will intentionally disrupt your ‘screen time’ because the primary focus is deep listening within. Who could have believed such intimacy and community was possible online?
In this four session course, you will navigate the anatomy of the soul, each session through a different portal:
Soul School is a course that can be taken over and over. Many of Kim’s students have taken the journey three and four times. Each segment will have two versions of the homework: one for those new to the course and one for those who have taken it in the past. It is always possible to go deeper!

It is important to commit to the entire course, as each section unfolds from the last. If it is necessary to miss a meeting, a recording will be available for one week following the meeting. All will need to be present for the first meeting.
