Wild Mercy: The Wisdom of the Feminine

Teresa of Avila as a Guide to a Radically Authentic Life

Recorded September 21 2020

Teresa of Avila is as relevant today as she was 500 years ago when she traveled the rugged Spanish countryside. Teresa was on fire with longing for the divine, who she related to as “Beloved,” and she was equally grounded and practical. “God,” Teresa famously said, “lives among the pots and pans.” Teresa was both wild and shrewd, a besotted mystic and a skilled reformer. She was subversive, in the very best sense, stirring up the pot of organized religion and igniting the hearts of countless women (and a few daring men). Join Mirabai—who has translated some of the greatest literary and spiritual jewels of this mystical master into fresh, accessible, contemporary English—for this free ninety-minute webinar gathering that will refill the cup of your heart.
