Motherland: Maternal Creativity and Balance in a Time of Quarantine
Recorded April 30 2020
Join four acclaimed poets as they reflect upon motherhood and inspiration as they balance personal and professional lives during a time of global urgency. In this one and a half hour webinar poets will talk openly about their lives as mothers and how the creative life has both challenged and sustained them. There will be short poetry readings followed by poets sharing their insight on time management and self-awareness, as well as frank honesty about places where they have universally failed. Join us for a soul-searching discussion about what it means to be a mother during an unprecedented time. This is an opportunity to bond with mothers, care givers, and those who nurture without limits. This webinar is co-sponsored with Blue Flower Arts, a literary speakers agency.
